Since the very first showing, I’ve been in love with this courtyard building in Lincoln Park. It’s tucked away at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac on Burling Street, and each condo has in-unit laundry and central air. If you’re familiar with vintage real estate, you understand how rare it is to find both of those things. There are fireplaces, hardwood floors, delicate details and a location that cannot be beat — you’re around the corner from Summer House Santa Monica, Athenian Room (Stacey’s favorite) and Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba.
Stacey, too, fell for the building. She closed on her unit last spring, and since then, we’ve become very good friends. I asked her to participate in the “At Home” series — below is her film, shot by my incredibly talented BFF.
