June 2012 marked my first day interning at The Everygirl. Back then, TEG was a startup. I’d take the Metra to the L, then walk almost half a mile to get to the co-founders’ Lakeview and Lincoln Park apartments. The commute was long, but oh, was it worth it. That summer, I learned invaluable lessons about female entrepreneurship and online publishing. I adored being a part of TEG.
Fast-forward four years. One of the co-founders recently reached out to me, asking if I could write a piece on homebuying. I did not hesitate. The article went live last week — this intern-turned-expert couldn’t have been more excited.
